As a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic and for the health/safety of our patients/staff we have decided to close our office effective immediately.
This closure will remain if effect until Thursday April 2nd when we will resume treatments. Be sure to check back here on this site or follow us on Facebook where we will post updates as we can.
If you or a family member has an appointment scheduled during the time of this closure you can expect a phone call from someone at our office to reschedule your appointment.
If you or a family member would like to make an appointment - please contact our office by phone or email and someone will respond in kind to fullfill your request.
Chiropractic emergencies will be handled on a cas by case basis. If you are experiencing a chiropractic emergency please leave a detailed voicemail or email and someone will respond to you as soon as possible.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that this unfortunate closure has caused you. Circumstances as they are, we believe closing our doors and suspending treatment is the most ethical and socially responsible course of action for both ourselves and the community as we all rise to meet this new challenge. Active Care Chiropractic opened in April of 2012 to provide quality health care to the Fairport/Perinton and surrounding communitites. We offer a wide variety of treatment options for every patient. We do not believe in pre-packaged care plans rather, develop custom and flexible treatment plans based on the patients' presenting condition and overall health and wellness goals. With the concern over the potential threat of COVID-19, we would like to assure you that we have implemented several precautions to protect you, our patients, and our staff. We are following the CDC's recommendations as a healthcare provider and employer.
We ask that you please cancel your appointment if you have:
- a fever
- a cough
- shortness of breath
- traveled to areas of concern, or have been in contact with somebody who has traveled to these areas, should call ahead to their health care provider before seeking treatment in person
Please call your primary care doctor if you think that you may have been exposed to COVID-19 and you develop the aforementioned symptoms.

CDC Recommendations to Keep Yourself and Others Healthy:
- Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing; going to the bathroom; and before eating or preparing food
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth with unwashed hands
- Stay home when you are sick
- Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash and immediately wash your hands
